Winter camping – Camp Hinds, February 22 – 24. Please contact Rob Madore for details.
Leader Reports
Tigers – Stephanie Michaud – Beads only needed for this Pack meeting. Last “Go See It” went well.
Wolfs – Den is doing well, and has earned some new belt loops and progress toward rank beads. Still seeking a replacement for Den Leader position.
Bears – Bear dens working well. Advancement info not available at committee meeting.
Webelos 1 – Roger Plante – All have earned their Webelos Badge
Webelos 2 – Debra Devoe – Progress on various badges by Web 2, including Naturalist. Some compass points to be awarded as well.
Officer Reports
Committee Chairman – NA
Treasurer – Checking: $2721.53, Savings: $123.49. Council account: $57.43. Report submitted of those Scout who have paid their 2008 dues. This list will be used in the re-chartering process.
Advancement Chairman – NA
Cubmaster – Need to have Den Leaders present or represented by an alternate at Committee meetings to get awards and other information collected. Also, please use the appropriate advancement forms to record awards earned and advancement. They can be found on the web site at: http://www.mainepack110.org/html/forms.html
New Business
Pack to give out Pinewood Derby cars for Christmas again. Bob to pick them up at Council. All kids to get candy canes as well (Debra to bring these).
Reminder: Any boy who has not submitted his dues for 2008 yet must do so at the December Pack Meeting. Amount is $25 / Scout. Boys Life is $12 if desired. Please let your Scouts know before the Pack Meeting.
Pinewood Derby clinic - 12th and 13th – Plante house. Roger & Janice to prepare directions and put together a sign up sheet. Parents are encouraged to bring additional tools if available to help. Official Pinewood Derby rules are available on the website at: http://www.mainepack110.org/html/forms.html. Please share them with your Den. They will also be emphasized at the Pack Meeting.
Webelos 1 to work on trophies and car stands for the pack as part of their Craftsman Badge.
Bob to change ballots for voting for best cars. Each Cub Scout will be issued 3 ballots, on for himself, and two for his parents (or other delegates).
Victory Lane Carting – We are trying to organize a Pack event for Saturday, January 19th there. Please discuss with your Den and see how many boys may be interested in attending. Please call or e-mail Bob ASAP so reservations can be made.
Wolf Den was the top Popcorn sales den. Bob to host the Pizza Party at a date t.b.d. (in January).
Next committee meeting – January 14, 6:30, American Legion Hall.
